I am a one room (currently only one therapist) location and scheduling is limited. To provide the best care for my clients, I am only taking new clients on a case by case basis. If I can't help you, I'll do my best to point you in the direction of someone who can!

Harmonic Massage & Wellness is located on the Lower Level of the Haymarket building (to the left of the elevators) with Counterpoint Pilates. The Haymarket building has two main entrances, one to the south on Michigan Ave and another on the rear, north/west side of the building, off of the Water Street parking lot (no longer public). The main entrances are open during standard business hours (Mon-Fri 9 AM-5 PM) and Wine Loft hours (Tue-Sat 4 PM-12 AM). If your session time starts after 5pm Tue-Fri I will meet you on the main floor at the elevators, unless otherwise specified.

There is also a third door just left of the (back) north/west entrance on Water St. with a Counterpoint Pilates and a Harmonic Massage and Wellness sign next to it. This door leads to stairs that take you down to the lower level and also has a door to the main floor hallway, where the elevators are located. Should your session begin after 5pm on a Monday or Sunday, I will need to buzz you in at that entrance. Please message when you arrive or ring the doorbell.

Parking:

***Please note!!! Parking lot 9 on Water street, across from Arcadia Park, is no longer available!***

***Construction of a new building at Water street and Edwards may disrupt parking and traffic! Please plan accordingly!***

When parking, keep in mind your session time accounts for Hands On Time only!!! I take time to check in before and after each session in edition to handling payment and rescheduling. Add 10-20 min on average to your appointment time and if it is your first session or there has been major change since your last appointment 20-30 min, as it may involve new client paperwork and a longer check in and check out.

  • Michigan Ave and some surrounding streets have 90 minutes of free parking from 6 AM-6 PM Mon-Sat. After 6pm and on Sunday these spots are no longer monitored for time. (Parking here is only recommended on sessions LESS THAN 90 min, sessions beginning at/after 4:30 PM, or on Sundays) Parking over 90 minutes could result in a $15 ticket.
  • Water Street, behind the Haymarket building, and Portage road, in front of the Gilmore building at Michigan Ave, has short-term meters for $1.75/hr (you can only feed up to two hours). All parking meters are free after 5pm and on weekends. (I'm currently not sure the cost of an expired meter but do know they will waive an expired meter ticket once every 6 months. Simply take your ticket to their location on Rose street.)
  • There is also a parking ramp on Portage road just south of the building (on the same block as the Gilmore building and the AMC theater). Daily rates are $1.75 for the first hour and $1.00 for each additional half hour. This ramp is free on Sundays. I offer validated parking in this ramp for the clients that may need it. 
  • Should you need closer parking due to mobility issues, please contact me and I will try to accommodate you.

Arriving late:

Appointment times have been arranged specifically to work with you. If you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there is enough time remaining for a complete session or if there is the availability to extend the session time. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the full session.

Cancelations & No-shows:

I understand that unexpected events happen to everyone, creating reasons to cancel or miss appointments and will evaluate each clients situation on a case by case basis. In my desire to be fair to all of my clients and to myself, I have adopted the following policy:

  • I ask that you give at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule a session during that time. Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment will be considered a “no-show”.

Failure to call with 24 hours notice or missing an appointment entirely will result in the following actions:

  • 1st time- a warning & reminder of policy (we all make mistakes & have bad days).
  • Future occurrences result in a $20 fee, owed before the start of the next session. This fee multiplies with each occurrence.
  • If this is done in excess you may have future appointments canceled or be dismissed as a client.
