Welcome to Harmonic Massage & Wellness and the most current information about what returning to massage as a client will look like as COVID-19 continues to be an issue.

updated as of 2022:

While a fever is no longer a strong indication of COVID-19, please be aware of how you are feeling as we are a long way from the end of all this. Loss of taste or smell is a stronger indicator you may be sick. Newer symptoms can fall more under headaches and extreme fatigue. It's never a bad idea to check temperature or cancel if you are feeling off. And of course cancel if you have recently been around anyone who is now sick or positive for COVID-19

The Haymarket building is referring to CDC guidelines as far as masking goes. I am asking those unvaccinated to wear a mask, both when entering and during your massage. If you do not have a mask, I can provide you with a disposable one for $2. I am choosing to always mask for all clients while in session from this point forward. Please feel free to mask if that is what is comfortable for you. I clean and sanitize surfaces in my office between each client and added an extra air filter on top of the buildings upgraded filters.

Please leave wet or dirty shoes outside the massage studio or when going in Counterpoint Pilates (which leads to the restrooms). Rubber sandals are available and are disinfected between each use if you do not want to be barefoot.

Please arrive on time. Try not arrive more than 10 minutes early as you may have to hang out in the hall. This will give the maximum time for me to disinfect and allow more air changes between clients.

Please try to limit the number of items you bring inside. I know a hot car isn't ideal, so try to keep things at home or work when possible. I of course expect the usual: purses/wallets, phones, keys, coats (when needed)... and as always encourage you bring your own water bottle. Water provided comes from Gordon Water and is available, room temp, on tap or in glasses that are cleaned and disinfected after every use.

I changed my email and text reminders to be 48 and 24 hours respectively. For some reason I can't understand, these aren't always received by clients. I've tried following up with MassageBook and they've claimed to have sent them and occasionally clients still receive nothing... Be sure to mark your calender and plan on what we've agreed to unless one of us contacts the other. There is no penalty for canceling late at this time due to illness. There is a charge for not notifying me and missing your appointment completely.

If you've made it this far I APPRECIATE YOU!!!

Extra MassageBook reminder below (and a reminder that you'll have to agree to something similar when you arrive for your massage):
